My work has been with learners in a home education setting, where as facilitators, we visit families to encourage and support the child directed programs. What is most inspiring for all of us is to meet with these young people and to learn from them. With over 20 years in the education world, these are the best parent/student/teacher interviews I have ever experienced. Students choose many routes of learning and each one is individualized and relevant to their particular interests, passions, abilities and preferences. They own their learning and they teach us how it happens.
